Peek a book

After the completion of our mini me , i transferred them into a book called peek a book . The book is actually a short story that i had created to describe how the mini me of mine came about.

Woot Woot !

What we done was to draw a human form about 1-2 metre away from u . the size should be proportional to the maodel and we used the thumb and pencil technique to draw . we closed one eye then measure the height of the model then transfer it to the paper and it produces great results .

MINi ME

Finally it had come into the making of mini me . My mini me consisted of 4 emotion . Happy , confused , gloomy and angry . It was fun making them as u are likemaking a toy out of recycled material .What i uses are tin can , toliet paper roll and cardboard boxes . These are simple recycled material and it dos wonders too.

We are ask to make mini me which also known as a russian doll . What i wanted to make is a simple yet interesting mini me toy . Here are some of the sketches of mine and classmates. Mini me is a toy that allow it to fit into one and other . It started with the biggest ones then when we opened it , there a smaller ones . It is always filled with surprises and it tells a story too.

Handy Leggy

On today drawing lesson , we are ask to draw our hand and feet without looking at the paper and pencil . we are ask to poke a hole in an A4 size paper with pencil and draw. By just looking at our hand and feet, we need to draw iton the paper without looking at them . It was tough and my hands look like alien ones hahhaha! it was special as my hands are able to bend !

Bend and Injury

Sigh ! It was another tough activity. We were ask to make our wire into interesting shapes that consisted of the 3 basic shapes . The cube , sphere and the pyramid . These are the design of my shapes . WOW .....




We need to do some idea sketching first before we are able to make the shape that we wanted. Sketching is always the basic steps to design and i had learnt alot in class about sketching therefore it seems easier to sketch now than to make the shape.

Look out for SIGN !

We were ask to design our own theme and transfer them onto the ping pong ball . What i had made are signs . I personally believe that sign is important as it convey the message to everyone and people are meant to follow theses signs . Signboard and road sign are usually in the shape of a square , triangle or rectangle . what i want is a special and interesting shape which is round . We can use the balls to teach children recongnize the road sign and help them understand what each road sign means . The colours are bright and glossy as it will attract the attention of people . just think what if u see theses rounded sign on road and streets instead of the normal ones ? people will find it interesting first and they will look out for more . At the same time then had actually learnt what the road sign are telling them !
