Moody MOnday

It was a monday morning and we came right to school for another week of drawing ... the 1st thing we did was to pin up our veg drawing on the board to have a short commenting session later we head on drawing images of faces using our clear acrylic. I wonder y do we need acrylic and not paper ? While doing our work, the lecturer came to us and see our nicely done ping pong balls . lucky they didn ask me to redo if not i will .........! We use marker to draw on to the acrylic . we had supposed to use fine line or just using one line to draw . i use many strokes and it look kind of messy i think . I should have plan well before starting on it Sigh ...!


We are also ask to bring wire and pliers . the purpose of it is to use them to make 3 basic shape .
The Cube, Pyramid and the sphere . we use the plier to bend the wire and form the shape . the wire is hard and it took alot of effort just to bend on side of it . Although the shape is not that nice looking but it is the best that it can be done haha ......

Ball , Balls And More Balls

Here come the most hectic day we all could ever had ... we had to finish our ping pong ball by monday ! Opps ..! i mean 40 balls in total . We were ask to transfer our emotion feeling drawing onto the ping pong balls and use either paint or marker as our medium .. i spent about 3 hours doing all these 20 balls .. Some are nice while others are hard to say ..haha. There are material , pattern, objects ,colour and icon . I believe that We all had FUN doing these balls

My Fine Drawing

Here are some drawing i made from my vegetables.... I choose this vegetables as it has unique features. I use different types of pencils to draw as it produces a different effects to this drawing. I use many different shading skills too! Some examples of the types of pencils I used are: 2B, 4B and 6B. Although it doesn't look as good as it seems to be, but it is my first time drawing attempting to draw this stuff! I believe there is still room for improvement! :][

Fine Drawing Vegetable

We did the fine drawing in the morning and i spend a little time on it . Later i realised that it was not as easy as it seem to be . I used shading skill and hatching skill to draw my veg and i hope it end up well. I had seen many good drawing and i hipe mine will be like them or i will try harder and be like them in the future ...hahaha.....really hope so ! Some are really too good to be true and their shading skill are superb ...No match ! I wonder where they get their talent from ??
There are chilli , apple ,cap and broc so delicious ! mhmmm.......................... i relly hope they were mine anyway ,,, That was detailed !!!

Things to bring

Here come the second week in Sp. Many activities waiting for us to do . We are told to bring fruits and toys on monday and i wonder why . Today i realised the reason for bringing such unusual things. I heard that apple and oranges are not allowed because they were round therefore i brought a lotous instead . It has interesting features and allow me to draw more ( main reason) .i was told that we learn drawing and rendering skills and this is useful to us as we are able to draw better next time ( hope so) ...

Next is the Toy part .. I realised that we are doing Show And Tell ....
We will be going infront to show our toy and tell the audience about the toy . we had fun listening to people talking about their toy ... Heard that many people use PSP as their toy ( i wonder why ?) I myself bring a holga and my friend brought his toy gun ..Bang Bang !

My Top Choice

This is the one that i had good impression on . Although it just made from paper , i had seen many efforts spent on this little weirdo . This is also on the top 5 list and let me tell why kelly choose this as top 5 . He said that colours and icon are important in brickboy . This brickboy has a bright colour and is very detailed . Through this all of us will knew that this is F_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . The reason is the DEtailed drawing like the scar and the short untrimed hair . This weirdo also enhance the detailing in putting nails through its head and this shows how detailed this is ......

My Bumblebee Day

It was time to present our brickboy to the class . Today i had seen many wonderful piece of work . Most of them all nicely done while others are just too boring to look at ( i mean mine ) . The best ones are the first to present . Lucky for me i am not the first one to present as mine is not that good anyway ..... The ones that are first are thoses we uses paint to paint their brickboy and they all had interesting character choices . They had used bright colours as their choice as it attracts lots of attention .

My Real Bumblebee

Sorry . This will be my real bumblebee which i made from paper . It consisted of several cube boxes and several rectangle boxes . I had changed the original shape of the brickboy . Instead of putting the hat on top , i replaced it with the head therefore it look more like a robot . I had learnt the importance of shape in design and shapes are important to construct an object . Although this is only a simple exercise , but I had learn that shape does a difference.....

More Than Meets The Eye

Now after we had made the first brick boy , our next challenge has come. We are to make something that we like and is known to many people . Many of us will choose to make Spiderman , Batman , Superman and all the " MAN " which existed in the hero world .... What i made is special ! I am making the most powerful and majestic BUMBLEBEE ! The process are not easy . We had to magnified the scale by 2 so as to make my brickboy look bigger . It took me about 5 hours to make this bumblebee and i really hope it can fly somehow ... haha... What i wanted to make is a cool looking bumblebee like the one on the 1st image but i cant . then went on to make the second one but too cute . finally i decided to make the last one which is simple . i used colour pencil as my tools to colour it and marker to outlined it . Here is my BUMBLEBEE ...ZZZZZZZ...... IT IS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE !

The Brick Boy

Finally it came to the second day of my life in Sp . Today we are asked to make brickboy... What is brickboy ? Brickboy is a boy that made up of bricks (paper to be exact) ! Funny right?...What we done is to measure the scale from the original and transfer it to a A3 paper which commonly called the DRAWING BLOCK !! We then used pen and ruler to mark out the position and then finally came to the cutting part which i like best ..
